ESB Walk

Location: Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Park
Meeting point: behind the Holyrood Palace beside a carpark. Exact location HERE.
This will be a slow walk around this iconic hill taking in some of the best views of this ancient city. A good jacket and comfortable flat shoes recommended (runners or shoes with decent grip as the ground can be slippery).
Starting Point at the gate in front of Holyrood Palace, located at the end
of the Royal Mile. Free entrance but registration needed.
Distance: 4,75 km/3 miles; Ascent: 279 m
